100 days later - 250 LIVE Virtual Workouts down.
I watched from the side lines as the country planned to go into lockdown. I was in denial at first, still running f2f sessions up until a few hours before L4.

What shall we do?
Will everyone abandon us?
Can online work?
Is this the right move?

It has been a CRAZY 3 months! By the time I had run my 2nd class ONLINE I started to feel confident, I was able to sleep a bit better at night.

At the start I just had an old phone and a stand which was around 6 years old and on the way out, my battery life was 10 mins long so I needed to have the phone plugged in the whole time.

But within days I started getting a new sense of belief that I'd never felt before, a way to keep clients engaged even if they struggled to get out of bed in the morning. I've built a home studio from scratch, plus have more time at home with my 6month old child. My business isn't back to where it was 12months ago but the work/life balance is improved drastically and I've finally created something that is unique.

We are perfect for those that travel frequently for work and for those with young kids that find it hard to leave the house sometimes and want to send more time with the family after work while keeping fit and strong.

We still have daily face to face sessions as well to mix things up which makes that community feel even more possible. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I needed my zoom boot camp almost everyday in lockdown!! BAReFIT virtual saved me ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's been awesome to go on this journey with you Steve and thank YOU for not abandoning US! The lockdown and post-lockdown routines work better for some us than the pre-lockdown ones, and we would never have known if you hadn't stepped up so thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

Seeds are great sources of fiber. They also contain healthy monounsaturated fats, polyunsaturated fats and many important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

When consumed as part of a healthy diet, seeds can help reduce blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure

I personally throw chia & sunflower into a Greek yoghurt with some berries, this makes a healthy snack on the go!

Ensure that most of your meals contain good sources of protein, such as beans, lentils, chickpeas, tofu, soya alternatives to milk and yoghurt, or nuts.

Im a firm believer in taking small steps towards your health goals.

I see far too many people try changing too much at once; they join a gym, they quit alcohol, they crash diet and they hide away from social events.

Its clear that this mentality is not going to work long term.

I always say, โ€œIf your diet has an end date, you are already setting yourself up for failure!โ€œ

So, if youve not done any exercise for a while, just start with taking the stairs, going for a walk at lunch time and going on an adventure walk at the weekends.

Walking has many benefits and its a great way to see the beauty around you. I love the cemetery outside my back garden, it is great for morning walks after an epic workout with the team..

Disconnect from technology from time to time
